Ecosystem Informatics Inc. (ESI) has been selected as a finalist in the SmartCity Global Startup Challenge. ESI will present its innovative solutions at theSmart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) in Barcelona, Spain, from November 5-7,2024.

 Selected from a competitive poolof international entries, ESI’s data-driven and mobile approach to monitoring urbanair aligns with the challenge’s focus on transportation, sustainability, andvulnerable road users (VRUs). ESI’s solutions empower cities and industries toreduce pollution and heat islands, improve air quality, and achieveenvironmental targets, supporting the development of smarter and healthierurban spaces.

The Smart City Global StartupChallenge will feature a pitch competition at SCEWC at the US Pavilion onNovember 6th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM CEST. During the event, ESI willhave seven minutes to present its solution, followed by a Q&A session witha panel of industry experts. The competition’s winner will be announced at the conclusionof the session.

As a finalist, ESI is positionedto further its mission of driving sustainable development and environmentalhealth across global urban landscapes. Its participation in the challengeunderscores the company’s commitment to innovative solutions that enhance urbanliving through better air quality monitoring and smarter environmentaldecision-making.
