Former CTO of New York City to Lead Global Air Quality Solutions at Ecosystems Informatics Inc.

(ESI), a leader in air monitoring and informatics, is proud to announce the appointment of Alby Bocanegra as Head of Government Engagement and Strategic Partnerships. With extensive experience in utilizing technology and data to solve urban challenges, Alby will drive ESI’s mission to form strategic alliances with governments and organizations worldwide to improve air quality management.
Alby previously served as Chief Technology Officer of New York City, where he oversaw the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology initiatives aimed at improving public services and enhancing the city’s infrastructure. His leadership in applying data-driven strategies helped transform New York into a more resilient, sustainable, and digitally connected city.

In addition to his role as CTO, Alby also served as Vice President of Global City Partnerships at Mastercard, where he led efforts to expand the City Possible network to over 350 cities worldwide. He also helped grow a night time economy network of over 100 night mayors, night czars, and policy makers, fostering collaboration and innovation across urban ecosystems.
